Jonge profmusici en wetenschappers voor het klimaat
Violist en klimaatcomponist Tim Kliphuis maakt zich zorgen over de planeet. Elke dag is er wel klimaatnieuws: het gaat niet goed met de aarde. Maar wat moet er gebeuren om meer mensen aan te spreken om ook iets te doen voor de planeet? Tim ging in gesprek met vijf Nederlandse topwetenschappers uit paleoceanografie, biologie, natuurkunde, filosofie en sterrenkunde, en verwerkte hun verhalen en kennis tot het nieuwe stuk Kosmos. Binnenkort te horen, eerst in een nieuwe NTR-podcastserie en daarna live met 17 jonge muziekprofessionals op Nederlandse zomerpodia…

English: Violinist and composer Tim Kliphuis is concerned about the planet. Every day, there is climate news showing we have to act soon. But how can we inspire more people to do something for our planet? Tim interviewed five Dutch star scientists: a paleoceanographer, a marine biologist, a physicist, filosopher and astronomer, and created the new piece Kosmos based on their stories and ideas. It can soon be heard, first in a Dutch public radio podcast series and then with 17 young music professional at the Dutch summer festivals…
